Alex Storm is a skinny, ordinary thirteen-year-old comic-book nerd, starting high school in Los Angeles where new bullies replace the established ones in junior high. Even Alex’s friends give him a hard time, that is, until a mysterious and magical hammer falls from the sky and nearly kills him. It doesn’t take him long to figure out that it’s the legendary hammer of the Norse god, Thor, but why did it come to Alex and why then? When strange blonde men wearing black leather jackets and using impossibly advanced technology start looking for the weapon, Alex has to learn how to use it quickly or not only would he be at risk, but everyone he knows.
